Office worker by day, hobbyist by... anytime outside of business hours I suppose. I graduated from UC San Diego with a BA in Literature with a focus in writing, but design and photography have always been a consistent undercurrent throughout my life. (As such, my current plan for this portfolio is to heavily lean towards my photography... but that's not to say that other projects might not make their way around here as well. Time will tell.)

As for the photographic arts, I started learning from my father from a young age. Starting with disposable cameras on elementary school field trips, I was then trusted with a couple of trusty point-and-shoot cameras. (One of which I dropped in a tide pool and broke in high school...) I was able to borrow and use my father's Nikon D90 as my first big-boy camera throughout my college years and beyond. (That being said, having an adult job and being able to make adult decisions, I finally bought my own D90 in my late 20s. I've since gone through a short span of upgrades in a quicker span of time.)

Since I'm still forever learning what it means to take a good picture, I can't promise that my work can stand on its own legs yet. I hope you stick around to watch my growth until then. To get used to even showing my work, I started a photography-specific instagram account in the summer of 2023 to have a place for my pictures.
